SUNSET, La. (NEWS 15) — An illicit drug lab was found in St. Landry Parish, leading to one arrest, according to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz.
Phillip Boutte, 45, of Sunset, was arrested on Monday, May 12, on charges of operating a clandestine drug lab, PWITD Schedule I (Dimethyltryptamine), PWITD Schedule II (Crystal Methamphetamine), PWITD Schedule II (Oxycodone), PWITD Schedule IV (Tramadol), possession of Schedule II (Fentanyl), possession of Schedule II (Adderall), possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sheriff Guidroz said Boutte was found with a backpack containing drugs and drug paraphernalia. He added detectives seized about 14 ounces of Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) worth $79,400, other drugs worth about $1,400, and a .357 magnum revolver…
