‘Cars ‘n’ Stars and Tacos Too’ Set for Saturday with Branched Oak Observatory

A unique blend of car and star gazing is coming to Lancaster County with Cars ‘n’ Stars and Tacos Too, hosted by Branched Oak Observatory for a one-day, two-location event happening Saturday, May 17.

The day starts with a free car show from 1-4 p.m. at Speedway Motors, 340 Victory Ln. in Lincoln. Attendees can enjoy a showcase of vintage and custom vehicles, food from High Voltage BBQ, desert from Kona Ice, and raffle prizes. Vehicle check-in for participants begins at 10 a.m., and those interested can register their car here.

At dusk, the event shifts to Branched Oak Observatory, 14300 NW 98th St. in Raymond, for a star party from 8 p.m. to midnight. Stargazers can view deep space through telescopes, attend a sky presentation by Branched Oak’s Professor Sibbernsen, and enjoy exhibits.
