School board adjusts student cell phone use police

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Students in the Sioux Falls School District won’t be allowed to use their cell phones during most of the school day for the upcoming academic year. Incoming Superintendent Jamie Nold led a study committee that determined the policy. Elementary and Middle School students won’t be able to use their phones at all, but Nold says High School Students will have a short period of cell phone use each day.
