Burien Detectives assist in major King County drug bust linked to Sinaloa Cartel

Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office detectives seized an estimated $638,000 worth of narcotics and arrested a suspected drug trafficker linked to the Sinaloa Cartel during a recent operation in King County, authorities announced.

The bust, which took place on May 7, 2025, was the result of an investigation led by the Sheriff’s Office Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team – based in Burien – with assistance from K9 Quinn, the SeaTac and Precinct 5 Special Emphasis Teams, and Burien’s Crime Reduction Unit.
