FRESNO, Calif. — A Fresno family has filed a lawsuit against Mountain View Community Church after two grass fires, which started on the church’s property, caused them to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The fires, occurring in June and September of last year, destroyed business equipment and personal items belonging to the Kelly family.
“We lost a lot of our business equipment, a lot of our materials. My husband suffered emotionally and physically,” said Susan Kelly. “It would have been nice if somebody had acknowledged us and come over and see if we were okay.”…
