WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — An inmate has died in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center just days after his arrest, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
David Elliot Dickerson, 72, was found unresponsive while detention center staff were completing rounds around 5:21 p.m. on Saturday. Following resuscitative efforts, Dickerson was pronounced dead.
