Why it matters: Starting Wednesday, a road closure will reroute traffic through the airport until August to facilitate United Airlines’ $2.6 billion renovation of Terminal B.
Driving the detour: North Terminal Road will be closed from John F. Kennedy Boulevard to the west side of Terminal B.
- Eastbound drivers will contraflow on South Terminal Road before returning to North Terminal Road.

- The Terminal B lobby closed in January for renovations, sending passengers to Terminal C for check in.
