MERIDIAN, Idaho — Eva Plimmer, an inspiring 11-year-old who bravely faced an inoperable brain tumor, left a legacy that continues to uplift her community. Before her passing earlier this year, Eva dreamed of creating a ninja park for children, a place where they could find joy and believe in themselves while overcoming obstacles.
“I want it to become something that kids will find joy in and find that they believe in themselves and to emotionally and physically overcome every obstacle,” Eva said.
Her vision is now a reality at Discovery Park in Meridian, where a ninja course designed by Eva is nearly complete. The project was made possible through community fundraising efforts that raised nearly $200,000 last fall.
