COLUMBUS, Ohio — As the Columbus region grows, so does its thirst for water. The city says water usage has increased from about 136 million gallons of water per day in 2012 to nearly 150 million gallons of water per day in 2024.
To meet the growing demand from residential, industrial and commercial buildings, the city is beginning construction on the Home Road water plant.
