KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Osceola County officials broke ground Wednesday morning on a $47 million comprehensive rebuild of Reedy Creek Elementary School, a project aimed at expanding the school’s capacity and providing modern learning spaces for students.
The project, led by Swedish contractor Skanska, will involve demolishing portions of the existing school in Kissimmee and constructing a new 96,000-square-foot academic center. Once completed, the school will accommodate nearly 950 students, an increase from its current capacity of about 820.
