DALLAS, Texas — A tragic crash involving three vehicles on the Dallas North Tollway near Royal Lane resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries early Monday morning. The incident occurred at 1:21 a.m. and involved a wrong-way driver, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash involved a 2017 Nissan Altima driven by 50-year-old Michael Majewski, of Arlington, Texas, who was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. Majewski side-swiped a 2023 International truck towing a box trailer, driven by 30-year-old Kevin Hughey, of Dallas, Texas, who was not injured. The Altima then collided head-on with a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by 31-year-old Shakila Hudson, of Cedar Hill, Texas, who was transported to Parkland Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
Trania Jackson, a 28-year-old passenger in Hudson’s vehicle from Cedar Hill, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene. Other passengers, including 34-year-old Delonna High, of Huntsville, Alabama, 32-year-old Bianca Stroughter, of DeSoto, Texas, and 24-year-old Chuanteya Weaver, of Indianapolis, Indiana, were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries…
