Driver arrested for revoked license after 3-car crash

Riverside police arrested a man May 1 for driving on a revoked driver’s license after he was involved in a three-car crash.

Around 8 p.m., an officer responded to the intersection of Lionel Road and Ogden Avenue in response to a report of the crash. The officer spoke with the drivers of the three cars — a Subaru SUV, a Nissan sedan and a Dodge pickup truck — whose stories of the crash corroborated each other.

The driver of the Subaru said he was stopped at the stop sign on Lionel Road and trying to drive through Ogden Avenue to continue south onto Powell Avenue in Lyons. He told police he inched into the intersection and did not see the Nissan, which was heading west on Ogden “at a high rate of speed” in the right lane, police said…
