BCPD officers cleared for duty following officer-involved shooting

BOSSIER CITY, La. – Two Bossier City police officers have been cleared to return to duty following an officer-involved shooting that injured a man late last month.

District Attorney Schuyler Marvin said he met with Louisiana State Police investigators Wednesday morning and made the determination after reviewing preliminary information.

“I called the chief this morning and told him they could go back to work,” Marvin said.

State police detectives will take up to 90 days to complete the final report. It and the officers’ body camera video will be released at that time, Marvin said…
