A new brioche-centered eatery is open now in downtown Montgomery.
Hero started in 2017 when founder Wil Drake started selling his brioche doughnuts at pop ups in a record store, local farmers’ markets, and events.
After the doughnuts accrued a “cult following,” Hero developed into a restaurant that now serves what Drake referred to as a “very fun menu” full of “memories from [his] childhood”: breakfast, doughnuts, hamburgers and fried chicken sandwiches with fresh-baked brioche.
