Mobile County woman accused of shooting gun into 2 homes, vehicle, police say

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — An Eight Mile woman is in jail after police say she shot into two homes and an unoccupied vehicle last week.

According to an MPD news release, officers responded to a shooting on May 9 around 8:45 p.m. on the 2500 block of Farnell Drive. Another shooting occurred just over an hour later before 10 p.m. on the 900 block of Baltimore Street where another home had been struck.

J’Kayla Marissa Bailey, 27, was identified as a suspect and was arrested Wednesday, police said.

Bailey is accused of three charges of discharging a gun into an occupied or unoccupied building or vehicle, and two misdemeanor probation violations.
