Galivants Ferry man pleads guilty to multiple drug charges from 2022

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Galivants Ferry man pleaded guilty on Monday to multiple drug charges from 2022, the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.

Christopher Jakes, 37, pleaded guilty before his trial began to second-offense possession with intent to distribute cocaine and second-offense distribution of crack cocaine.

Jakes was arrested on Dec. 13, 2022, in Horry County after officers executed a search warrant of his home and found large amounts of narcotics in a shed on the property. He was also in the shed at the time and had previously sold drugs to a confidential informant from that same shed…
