An 81-year-old Villager has been arrested on a Wisconsin warrant at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital.
Clayton Ludwig Schaefer, who lives in the Tanglewood Villas in the Village of Sabal Chase, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning at the hospital in The Villages. The report did not indicate why he was at the hospital.
Schaefer was wanted on a Forest County, Wis. warrant charing him with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The Wisconsin case number indicates it was tied to a 2020 incident in the Badger State.
