JPD arrests teen for Holden Street killing, alludes to prior criminal history after judge sets bond at $1 million

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade announced the murder arrest of a 17-year-old suspect for a killing that took place last week and the name of an alleged accomplice in the crime.

Wade said officers arrested Lecorion Davis but did not say when the arrest took place.

Davis is charged with shooting and killing 19-year-old Zephaniah Thompson near Holden Street and Segura Avenue on May 7…
