Dunkirk Woman Charged After Traffic Stop in Silver Creek Reveals Multiple Violations

(WNY News Now) – A routine traffic stop in Silver Creek led to multiple charges against a Dunkirk woman for vehicle and safety violations, including obstructing deputies and failing to properly secure child passengers.

SILVER CREEK — On May 14, 2025, at approximately 1:05 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in the Village of Silver Creek that resulted in several charges against a 28-year-old Dunkirk resident.

The driver, identified as Keishla Rivera-Perez, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Deputies also observed two young children in the back seat who were not properly restrained according to New York State vehicle and traffic laws…
