Fresno Ride of Silence to honor teens killed in crashes

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The cycling community of the Central Valley will come together to remember two teenagers killed in two separate collisions in Fresno County.

The Fresno Cycling Club announced that they will host the upcoming Ride of Silence event, meant to honor the lives lost in tragic collisions and to raise awareness about the dangers cyclists face on the road, as well as to advocate for safer roads.

This year, the Ride of Silence will honor 16-year-old Sandro Lazo and 13-year-old Agamjodh Singh Cheema, both lost in two separate deadly collisions in Fresno County. The club says this year’s event coincides with what would have been Cheema’s 14th birthday, on May 21…
