LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington has 204 new affordable housing units thanks to an organization’s $9.5 million renovation.

The units of Briarwood of Lexington are owned by the Glick Company based in Indiana, but this doesn’t mean they miss out on what it means to be a generous Kentuckian. The team spent 18 months preserving 204 affordable units for seniors and people with disabilities.

“We’ve owned this property since 1979. For the last 45 years, we’ve been the owner of this property. It needed a little bit of TLC, and we’re proud to say that thanks to a great partnership with Kentucky Housing Corporation, we were able to rehab the property and provide great new homes for our residents for years to come,” the CEO of Glick Company, David Barrett, said.

The units have fresh paint and refurbished amenities to make the home life as relaxing as possible…
