Frequent trespasser charged again after fourth unwanted return to Wawa

A homeless man in Leesburg was arrested for trespassing at Wawa despite multiple warnings and three prior charges.

Officers responded to Wawa, located at 1400 E North Blvd., regarding 43-year-old Leroy Alexander Rogers refusing to leave the business around 5:25 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Upon arrival, the officers found Rogers sitting at the picnic tables. Due to numerous prior encounters with him, they knew he had been trespassed from the business before, the report said.

Dispatch confirmed Rogers had been trespassed twice before. The most recent warning was given on Jan. 24, 2023. He had previously been charged with trespass after warning from that Wawa three times, the report said…
