BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A woman charged in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a baby from Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital has taken a plea deal, avoiding jail time.
Dinesty Selmon pled guilty to count two of unauthorized entry of a place of business. Under those circumstances, she is on active supervised probation for three years.
In addition, she is required to continue all of the following:
- Mental and psych treatment
- Engage in treatment and therapy
- Stay away from the hospital
- Effective Decision-Making Course
- Anger management
- 50 hours of community service
- Maintain employment or student status
