Aurora Kicks Off Free ‘Music at the Movies’ Summer Series Blending Concerts with Outdoor Cinema

Aurora’s parks are about to become the freshest venues for families and friends looking for a mix of tunes and on-screen magic, as the city is launching the Music at the Movies series, a free and open gathering under the evening sky. In collaboration, the city of Aurora’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department and the Library and Cultural Services Department are bringing together the beloved Park Lights and Movie Nights with Summer Jams and Storytime to craft a signature summer experience.

The fresh series of events will feature pre-movie concerts lasting half an hour starting at 5 p.m., with the screenings themselves taking center stage at 6 p.m., promising a laid-back, wallet-friendly retreat for attendees who can bring along their chairs and blankets perhaps some snacks to complete their cozy outdoor cinema setup, no registration is needed, just your presence and eagerness to indulge in the community-family affair.
