A new venue celebrating arts and entertainment is preparing to open its doors in North Denver, Denver Gazette writes. Located at 3300 N. Tejon St., Ballyhoo Table & Stage will serve as a coffee shop, bar, event space, and performance venue — an all-around communal spot that the owner hopes to be a neighborhood staple.
Ballyhoo is the vision of Julia Tobey, founder of Give 5 Productions, a longtime local events company. After producing shows independently for nearly two decades without a permanent space, Tobey recently signed a lease at the former BRDG Project Art Gallery building—a brick structure dating back to 1929.
The 8,680-square-foot venue will feature a daily coffee shop open seven days a week, with light snacks and cocktails in the evening. Food trucks will rotate outside.
