New County Program to Help Mobile Homeowners Make Repairs

A new countywide program offers grants of up to $50,000 to help owners of mobile homes and manufactured homes to rehabilitate their homes to improve their safety and condition.

In the Fourth District alone, there are approximately 12,500 mobile homes registered through the California Department of Housing and Community Development.

The Manufactured Housing Rehabilitation (MHR) Program offers grants of up to $50,000 to income-qualified manufactured / mobile homeowners in the County of Riverside. This money is designed to assist with rehabilitating homes to eliminate code violations, substandard conditions, and health and safety issues.
