(WXIN/WTTV): A Tornado Watch was issued Thursday night for several counties in north central Indiana until 3 a.m. Friday, as the threat of severe weather continued to loom.
As the evening progressed, the extent of the watch was scaled back. By 11 p.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service dropped dozens of counties from the active watch as the storms weakened. Counties that are currently under the watch include Elkhart, Kosciusko, Lagrange, La Porte, Marshall, Noble and St. Joseph.
