GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — A plane made an emergency landing at the Greenville Downtown Airport this morning. Officials said luckily no one was hurt.
The plane made a “belly flop” landing, as airport spokesman Robert Hoover likes to call it.
“The pilot notified the air traffic control that the landing gear was not down and that happens sometimes just on indicator lights,” Hoover said. “Oftentimes they fly by just to make sure and in this particular instance, the landing gear was not down.”…
