Early this morning, Houston police began investigating a shooting that left one man dead at an apartment complex on 1400 Redford Street. The incident occurred around 2:35 a.m., and upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. According to a statement on City of Houston’s official news website, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
While the victim’s name has yet to be released pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, he is believed to be in his 20s. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots, before finding the male, lying in a grassy area adjacent to the street. There are no known suspects or motives in the case at this time.
