WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A 20-year-old man was indicted Wednesday by a grand jury for allegedly assaulting an elderly man at the Navy Yard Metro Station before a Nationals game, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
Te’Vaughn Brown is facing a felony charge of assault with significant bodily injury on a senior citizen. The USAO adds that Brown is also facing misdemeanor simple assault and theft charges in the Superior Court for a separate incident

According to court documents, on Aug. 9, around 3:30 p.m., an elderly man exited a train as Brown sat on the stairs leading from the platform to the lower level. The man attempted to go around Brown while walking down the steps when he felt Brown grab his leg.
