Franklin County Treasurer fights home foreclosure in new motion, asks judge to reconsider

Franklin County Treasurer Cheryl Brooks Sullivan is fighting a county judge’s decision to allow the foreclosure of her home.

Brooks Sullivan’s attorney filed a motion May 7, asking Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Jaiza Page to reconsider her September decision that sided with the bank foreclosing on the home.

As first reported in The Dispatch in April, Brooks Sullivan has been tied up in an ongoing legal battle since a bank filed a foreclosure case against her in April 2022, alleging she had not made full mortgage payments on her Mifflin Township home.
