FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Purdue Fort Wayne’s (PFW) annual Cherry Blossom Festival is making a return this weekend.
On Sunday, May 18, from noon to 6 p.m., PFW and the Japanese American Association of Indiana will host the Cherry Blossom Festival, a celebration of Japanese culture.
Organizers say the event will be held on campus in and around the Walb Student Union. Skybridge, Science Mall, Friends Pavilion, and Alumni Plaza will have activities related to Japanese culture, and food trucks will be set up outside offering authentic Japanese foods such as curry, ramen, yakisoba, and lavender-flavored ice cream…
