FOLSOM, Calif. — Folsom will spend nearly $4 million to acquire and update a new building for police operations after city council approved the move Tuesday.
The city will buy property at 1 Natoma St. for $2.7 million and spend $1 million for additions, like security fencing and furniture, according to staff documents. The Folsom Police Department currently works out of spot across the street at 46 Natoma St., a structure built in 1991, which officers say they’ve outgrown.
