Arlington’s Event-Packed Weekend: Concerts, Sports, Whisky Dinners, and More Await Residents

Arlington is bracing for a jam-packed weekend of events that cater to a broad spectrum of tastes, from music aficionados to sports enthusiasts, and even cat lovers, with a good measure of indulgence sprinkled throughout. Diana Rojas’s live concert at UTA Planetarium’s 2025 Concert Series kicks things off tonight. Let’s not pretend we aren’t a little excited about the promise of appetizers included with your ticket, because who doesn’t love a good bite before a show? Oh, and there’s a cash bar to ensure you have a drink in hand while Rojas serenades the atrium at 7 p.m.

According to the City of Arlington, sports fans have their choice of action-packed viewing, with the Texas Rangers going up against the Seattle Mariners in a three-game set. And if you’re feeling particularly spirited, why not saddle up and experience the PBR World Finals, which kicks off with Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo today at AT&T Stadium? Something tells us Arlington’s boots will be scootin’ till the bulls come home.
