2 workers have severe burns after Glendale food truck fire

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man and a woman are in the hospital with severe burns after at least one food truck caught fire in Glendale on Thursday afternoon.

It happened on 59th Avenue, near Maryland Avenue, which is south of Glendale Avenue. Details are limited but police say one victim suffered second-degree burns and the other had third-degree burns. Officers didn’t say which adult had which injuries.

Family members tell Arizona’s Family the business is called Halimah and the food truck was started a week ago. They were devastated to see their business burned to the ground. They added that the victims were siblings.

It’s unclear what sparked the flames. An investigation is underway…
