LUBBOCK, Texas— The City of Lubbock Solid Waste Department and Texas Tech University will host the annual Move Out Give Back on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The event will occur at First Baptist Church at 29th Street and Elgin Avenue.
According to a social media post by the City of Lubbock, the Solid Waste Department wants to provide students and residents with accessible resources and help reduce the illegal dumping of items such as hard-surface furniture and small working appliances.
