CAYCE, S.C. — A man is in custody, accused of multiple burglaries and a series of fires along the Riverwalk in Cayce.
The Cayce Police Department announced on Saturday that it had arrested Jaylan Lawrence early the previous morning on four counts of burglary and 16 charges of burning the land of another. Police said the latter charges came from an investigation into fires set along the Cayce Riverwalk and nearby commercial properties in March and April. No additional details about the burglaries were provided.
