Lake Wales Man Arrested In Florida Keys After High-Speed Motorcycle Chase

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A 27-year-old man from Lake Wales, Florida, found himself behind bars Saturday morning after a wild series of events that began with a high-speed motorcycle run in the Florida Keys. Jade Curtis Monday now faces a slew of charges following a pursuit that stretched from Islamorada to Marathon.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to pull over Monday around 12:30 a.m. in Islamorada. However, instead of stopping, the suspect, later identified as Monday, reportedly sped off southbound on U.S. 1, clocking speeds in excess of 100 mph.
