GARDENA – A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Friday evening on the San Diego (405) Freeway near Gardena, authorities said.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to the southbound freeway and the Vermont Avenue exit at about 10:45 p.m. Friday, where they found the victim lying in the slow lane, an overturned vehicle and a camper from one of the vehicles in another lane, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
