According to court documents, a man identified at Dedrick Jermaine Jones us facing federal charges after cocaine was discovered inside luggage on a Greyhound Bus in Amarillo.
That discovery was made May 11 while an Amarillo Police Department officer was working at the Greyhound Bus Station and when a canine alerted to narcotics inside a suitcase. A search of that piece of luggage netted the suspected cocaine.
Jones was later witnessed entering the luggage area and taking the suitcase. He later admitted to buying the drugs in California. The estimated value in the area of $489,000…
