FIRST ALERT WEATHER: The break in active weather continues

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Some clouds will be with us throughout this evening as it will be warm and breezy to start with temperatures in the 70s. A few clouds will be around heading into the overnight, as it will be pleasant with lows in the mid-50s.

Sunday will start off with a mix of sun and clouds and mild temperatures that rise into the 60s to begin the day. Lots of sunshine arrives by the afternoon as we see another really nice day with highs in the mid to upper 70s. A few clouds will be around for the evening and into the overnight as lows will be in the low to mid-50s.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAYS resume Monday as we return to an active weather pattern. Mostly cloudy skies will be with us to start Monday, with periods of rain arriving by the afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid-70s. There may even be a few thunderstorms as well on Monday, with the chance of one or two of those storms being strong to severe. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be around for the evening with a stray shower or storm possible. More scattered showers will be around into the overnight with lows in the mid to upper 50s…
