Lebanon police investigating shooting that left 1 injured

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Law enforcement launched an investigation after a person with a gunshot wound was found at a Lebanon apartment complex overnight.

The Lebanon Police Department said it received multiple reports around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 about a possible shooting victim walking around a building at Ironwood Apartment Homes along Rome Pike.

Officers in the area quickly responded to the complex and discovered a male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the forearm, according to authorities.

Police said they determined the incident was isolated, adding that there was no active threat to the public.

Shortly afterward, detectives arrived at the scene to take the lead on the case. In addition, K9 Eik was requested to help with evidence recovery, officials said.
