LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — The right lane is blocked on I-10 East on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in St. Martin Parish because of a vehicle fire, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). Drivers in the area should expect major backups.
DOTD officials reported the left lane was blocked on I-10 West past the I-10/I-49 interchange because of a crash. The wreck and lane closure caused heavy delays.
DOTD officials added Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette is closed because of some type of incident. They noted I-10 West at Ambassador Caffery was also shut down but reopened a short time later…
