KAPLAN, La. (KLFY) –A Vermillion Parish vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Crowley driver.
According to authorities, shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a single-vehicle crash on LA Highway 335, near Teche Road that claimed the life of Sommer Simon, 40, of Crowley.
Officials said Simon was traveling west on LA Highway 335 in a 2017 Ford Mustang when, for reasons unknown, the Ford traveled off the roadway to the left, struck multiple trees and became fully engulfed in flames…
