Meridian, ID (CBS2) — Eva’s Dream Ninja Playground, a project born from the vision of a young girl, officially opened Sunday at Discovery Park in Meridian. The playground, designed for children to climb, race, and grow stronger, was made possible through the contributions of numerous community members and local businesses, including Shamrock Construction & Excavation, Extreme Concrete, deBelloy Construction, Meridian Parks and Recreation, and Sonntag Recreation.
The grand opening featured a special appearance by Daniel Gil, known as the “Kingdom Ninja” from American Ninja Warrior, who was also Eva’s favorite competitor. The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:00 PM, followed by a variety of activities for all ages.
