Residents attend Consumers Energy cookout as they wait for the lights to come back on

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — The third day of storm recovery meant a third day without lights, A/C or internet for tens of thousands.

While they’re waiting, Consumers Energy tried to assure residents they weren’t forgotten about with a cookout hosted at the Kalamazoo Community Church Sunday.
