Propane tanks stolen from Dollar General, suspect on the run, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is searching for a suspect accused of stealing propane tanks from a local Dollar General.

On Thursday, May 15, around 4:15 p.m., officers responded to a theft call at the Dollar General on Dexter Road. Officers were advised that the cabinet, used for housing propane tanks, was emptied and its padlock broken; the suspect left the scene in a sedan.
