Man charged in car-dispute shooting pleads guilty to reduced charges

A Toledo man charged with murder for another man’s shooting death last year during an argument over car repairs pleaded guilty Monday morning to reduced charges.

Fabian Dorrough, 44, of the 1800 block of Wellesley Drive, had been scheduled for trial Monday for the Oct. 11 death of Rashad Ewing, 46, in the 3400 block of Twining Street.

But while a potential jury pool waited downstairs in the courthouse, Dorrough entered guilty pleas in Lucas County Common Pleas Court before Visiting Judge James Bates to involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, and having weapons while under disability…
