STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol is investigating after two people were killed in a single-vehicle accident Sunday night in Stanislaus County.
According to the West Stanislaus County Fire Protection District, it happened around 5 p.m. on southbound I-5, north of Howard Road. Upon arrival, emergency crews found a Jeep fully engulfed in flames.
The driver, a 21-year-old man from Tracy, and a passenger, a 23-year-old man from Tracy, were both pronounced dead at the scene. A second passenger was pulled out by a passing driver before they had significant injuries…
