When you see small American flags adorning service members’ graves this Memorial Day, young participants in the Scouting America program are likely responsible.
Area Scouts will decorate graves at two federal cemeteries, one state cemetery and at least a dozen private cemeteries, continuing a Scouting tradition more than 70 years old, according to Dylan Theg, director of field operations for the Middle Tennessee Council of Scouting America.
